Hotkeys
Most commands in IPSE are not only available via menus or buttons. Alternatively, you can enter these functions with key combinations. Typically, casual users work with menus. Experienced users prefer key combinations, because this may considerably speed up their work.
In addition to the key combinations listed here, commands can be selected using shortcuts, by key combinations of Alt-Keys. Each command of the menu bar indicates the key to be combined in underlying font. For example, the command to open a new project window can be invoked by the key-combination shortcut Alt + F, N.

Switches the result cross of the selected connection on/off. |

Opens a new project. |

Opens an existing project. |

Prints the active project. |
Ctrl+R |
Rotates the selected unit or the result cross of the selected connection. |
Ctrl+S |
Saves the active project. |
Ctrl+T |
Starts the dialog to insert text. |

Inserts data from the clipboard. |
Ctrl+Y |
Snaps the selected object to grid. |
Ctrl+X |
Deletes the selected object(s), and puts it (them) available in the clipboard for pasting. |

Copies the selected object(s) to the clipboard. Equivalent to Ctrl+C . |
