Profile

A user profile contains information of the user that represents the user’s identity and stores account details on the IPSE GO platform. While most of this information is not directly visible to other users, some information such as the public display name is displayed when interacting with other users (i.e. when sharing projects or joining groups).

In IPSE GO, you can view and make changes to your profile after logging into your account by navigating to Settings  Profile. The page displayed should look similar to the page depicted in Figure 1.

On the profile page the user can change the account password by pressing Change Password. For this a confirmation with the existing password is required and the user will be notified of a change.

In case you received an email that says that your account (password) was changed in any unintended way, make sure to contact the support immediately. Your account credentials may be compromised putting your data at risk.

Currently users can only change their passwords by themselves. If there is a problem with false user information or a change is required (different email, username etc.) enter into contact with the support.
