User Account

Access to SimTech web services, such as IPSE GO, requires authentication and authorization. These mechanisms ensure that users can only access the resources they are permitted to, including document restrictions for authors, shared content, or limitations based on licensing agreements.

User accounts also enable access to content across different devices. Public user profile information, such as display names, supports communication between users.

When accessing IPSE GO for the first time, users are directed to the login page as displayed in Figure 1. Users are asked to provide their username or email together with their platform password. Refer to the forgot password section to receive instructions on how to reset the password in case of failing attempts. Multiple successive attempts to login with incorrect credentials leads to a block of the account until manual re-enabling by the support. This security feature limits malicious activities and brute-force attacks on user accounts.

In case of repeated, failed login attempts it is recommended to reset the password. This should be done after 2 or 3 failed login attempts to prevent accidentally disabling the own user account.

Troubleshooting Login Issues

Access to most IPSE GO features requires a valid user account for authentication and license validation. If you encounter login problems, follow these steps:

  1. Verify that your network connection is active.
IPSE GO requires internet access to communicate with its cloud servers.

  2. Check the system status at https://status.simtechnology.com.
If there is a service disruption, please wait and try again later.

  3. Refresh the page and clear cached files by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+R, then attempt to log in again.

  4. If the issue persists, contact Support for further assistance.

Forgot Password

If you have lost access to your IPSE GO account or forgotten your password, you have two options:

  1. Reset your password via email.

  2. Contact Support for login assistance.

To reset your password, click Forgot Password on the login page and follow the instructions.
